Creating a program that has the following requirments and not sue if the OSH command is the one I should be using.

Program goes as follows.

1. I have a PT home position set for everytime power is cycled to the smart motor. This should provide me with a set starting point at every power up.

2. I'm going to use 2 subroutines that will be triggerd by two inputs Lets say input 16 and 17

3. If input 16 is low a subroutine will jog the smartmotor ahead a set distance,If input 17 is low the smartmotor will jog back a set distance.

I want to leave the original PT position set for an initial starting position, but would like to rezero the relative home positions within the subroutines so that I can get consectutive jogs in one or another direction as required .

can you give me an example on how to write this.

Thanks Kent.

The absolute position will be retained while you do relative (PRT) commands. You can always use RPA to report your absolute position. You should use TWAIT commands after your relative moves.
