Hello,

I have a smartmotor, model SM1720M, and would definitely appreciate help getting started or sharing their program to control the smartmotor using LabVIEW.

Please help,

Is this a class 4 or class 5 motor?

I have a vi from a few years ago that worked with the class 4 motors.

The class 5 motors have different commands than the class 4, so this VI won't work with the new motors.

I think it would benefit Animatics to develop a Labview VI for the Class 5 motors. They would be able to sell a lot more motors.

I believe it is a class 5, but I am unsure. It seems that the class 4 are the legacy series.

I would be interested to see your vi if you would be so kind.

Thanks,

I can send you the VI.

May I have your email address?

I can't see if there is a way to attach code on this forum.
