January 2005 - The SM1720D, one of Animatics' most popular offerings in our Legend Series SmartMotors, has been redesigned and cost reduced to use the same industry-standard connectors that are available with our other SmartMotors: our Double D-sub connector with a 15-Pin D-sub I/O and a 7-Pin Combo D-sub Power and I/O.

The new connector provides more robust construction, better resistance to harsh environments, and better compatibility with existing systems. The SM1720D SmartMotor offers a compact size, fully-integrated motion control capability, and the flexibility to meet your most challenging motion control requirements.
