It’s been over 15 years since Animatics invented the first integrated servo motor (a brushless DC motor, encoder, motion controller and amplifier all in one) and since then we have been building and improving on the technology, speed and ease-of-use. The result: the Class 5 SmartMotor™ product line from Animatics.

The Class 5 SmartMotor features ™ technology: a new, an easy to use communication protocol that joins all SmartMotor servos so that any SmartMotor may read from, write to, and control any other SmartMotor. Any SmartMotor can be the master or the slave, and you don’t even need a PLC anymore. No PLC means no bulky control cabinet, and less wiring is much more cost effective.
