Animatics Corporation is pleased to announce the immediate appointment of Douglas Parentice as President of Animatics Corporation upon the planned retirement of Jim Hawkins.

Over the past two and a half years, Doug has been working closely with Animatics’ outgoing President, Jim Hawkins, who provided strong mentorship and education as to the many processes, relationships, and strategies that fuel Animatics’ outstanding performance.

After 10 years with Animatics, Jim Hawkins is easing into a well-earned retirement. Jim and his wife Denise plan to travel throughout the US in their Airstream trailer and enjoy time with their children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

"People like Jim Hawkins never really retire, but I have agreed to return his golf clubs to him anyway," Robert adds. "While Jim and Denise will be traveling the US and Europe and enjoying more free time, they don’t want to lose contact with those of you who have contributed to making their ten years with Animatics so rewarding. I know these announcements are supposed to be very corporate and positive, but honestly, I have to admit that it is personally going to be very hard for a very long time to be without the two of them close at hand."
