Power
and Communications:
The
CBLSM1-10 is a 10 ft.(3m), Y configuration cable
supplying DC power and communications to OEM and Legend
SM17, SM23 and SM34 Series SmartMotors. CBLSM1-10
cables are designed with the following connectors: 9
pin female D-sub that is compatible with the serial
port of PC's, a 7 pin SmartMotor™ communications
D-sub and a special PS-Series power supply connector..
For
special lengths, use the CBLSM1-X part number,
where X=length in ft.
For
multi-axis, serial/RS232 communication, use the part
number CBLSM1-X-Y-Z, whereby X=distance from
host motor to motor #1, Y=number of smartmotors in series
and Z=distance from smartmotor #1 to smartmotor #2.
For
multi-axis, parallel/RS485 communication, use the part
number CBLSM2-X-Y-Z, whereby X=distance from
host motor to motor #1, Y=number of smartmotors in parallel
and Z=distance from smartmotor #1 to smartmotor #2.
Networking
between SmartMotors has never been easier now that the
Add-A-Motor (CBLSMADD) cable is here. The CBLSMADD
cable is a configuration cable that supplies DC power
and communications to OEM and Legend 17 and 23 Series
Smartmotors. The cable is designed to connect multiple
SmartMotors in a daisy-chain configuration for serial
operation. Add the suffix -0.3, -1.0, -3.0 or -7.5 for
standard lengths of 0.3, 1.0, 3.0 and 7.5 meters, respectively.

The
CBLPWRCOM is a flying leads cable. One end is
the standard OEM and Legend Series 7 pin
power/communications connector and the other end is
flying leads. The flying leads allow for easy wiring
to peripherals and terminal blocks. Add
the suffix -3m, -5m, or -10m for standard lengths of
3, 5, or 10 meters, respectively.

Input/Output:
The
CBLIO is a 5 VDC TTL I/O cable with flying leads.
One end connects to the standard 15 pin, I/O connector
on the OEM and Legend Series and the other end is flying
leads. Add the suffix -3m, -5m, or -10m for standard
lengths of 3, 5, or 10 meters, respectively.
The
CBLIO43 and CBLIO52 power and communication
cables supply 24VDC I/O in a low-cost, optically-isolated
package. The CBLIO43 cable provides 4 input ports
and 3 output ports. The CBLIO52 cable offers
the same specifications and functionality, but with
5 input ports and 2 output ports.
The flying lead cable comes in 2 standard sizes, 5 or
10 meters (16ft or 33ft) which is identified with the
suffix –5m or – 10m, respectively.

The
CBLSMYPWR-T is a Y configuration power cable.
It routes power from one PS-Series power supply to 2
standard SmartMotor communication cables.
The
CBLDC1 is a 2 wire, power supply cable. It provides
connection between the PS-Series power supply and voltage
clamp shunt models SHUNT42V100W and SHUNT42V200W.
