D15IOAD1
The
D15IOAD1 is a means of externally setting the address of a SmartMotor™
and providing 24V isolated Input/Output. It provides two power outputs to
direct drive solenoids and relays and four inputs that interface with the
SmartMotor's ports A through D. The SmartMotor address is selected via
the two D15IOAD1 two rotary switches and incorporating a routine into the
SmartMotor user program. The exact text of the routine is listed in the
User's Guide. Both the SmartMotor read-address function and 24V output
control are handled over the AniLink port, so ports E and F are not
available to the user when using the D15IOAD1. Both the inputs and
outputs are bipolar, where the common line can be connected to either 24V
or 24V return. This allows the user to determine whether the inputs and
outputs are sourcing or sinking. There is one common line for inputs and
another for the outputs. The D15IOAD1 comes with a 1ft (0.3m) flying lead
cable. This cable is also available in 10ft (3m) length by adding the
suffix - 3m.
