Hi,
I could not find the equivalent circuit for quad output - DB15 pin 8&9
Using 3 SM23165DT-DE-CDS-AD1
Lets call Motor1 - Motor2 - Motor3
Need to do some tracking from a motor1
Can I connect Motor1 DB15 pin 8&9 to Motor2 & Motor3 DB15 Pin 1&2?

The SM23165DT only offers single ended encoder output. You can wire it as you described. Be sure to also tie pin 13 on all motors together for signal ground.
